Ditch the Disposables.

Did you know that of the 26 million tonnes of plastic thrown away each year only 12 million tonnes are recycled? This means 14 million tonnes go into landfill, making the percentage of plastic actually recycled less than 50%.

150 million tonnes of plastic are already in our oceans, meaning it's predicted that by 2050 there will be more plastic in the oceans than fish.

This month marks Plastic Free July, a global campaign designed to raise awareness of how much plastic we use on a daily basis, and highlight the alternative measures we can take to reduce this.

Whilst the statistics are overwhelming, there are small changes that we can make everyday, so that we can limit the amount of disposed plastic.

Our challenge for you is to ditch your disposables and single use cups for the rest of the month, and instead use a reusable coffee cup. Invest in a reusable coffee cup that you can take with you everywhere and we promise you'll never look back- any step is a good step to reduce the amount of plastic we throw away.
